STRE was entrusted with developing the brand strategy and identity from the ground up—leading the naming process and crafting key visuals, including logo development and digital graphic layouts, to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.

THE ASK

NUBO is an event management application, aspiring to differentiate itself from its competitors through its innovation-led solution of creating a dedicated, user-friendly platform for event management that is accessible to individuals of all ranges of experience and background. The app is centred around its core values of simplicity, empowerment and flexibility to make event planning accessible whilst enjoyable.

OUR SOLUTION

After digging deep to the core brand soul, and understanding from the founders of NUBO, STRE developed the brand strategy and identity from scratch, keeping in mind of the core values and essence of what the brand stands for, whilst balancing it with market trends and insights to gauge an understanding of what aligns with our target audience.


Once the brand has been articulated with clarity, this allowed us the foundation to bridge our name development and identity design. STRE’s ideated name, NUBO, draws inspiration from the Latin word nubes, meaning “cloud,” symbolizing flexibility, connectivity, and the seamless flow of digital information, being core qualities of a modern event management platform.

From there, we crafted a cohesive visual system that brought the brand to life. This included logo development and a suite of digital graphic layouts designed to support clarity, scalability, and consistency. Each element was thoughtfully developed to ensure the brand could be expressed seamlessly across platforms, creating a unified and recognisable experience at every point of interaction.


Anchored in NUBO’s core positioning, values, and personality, every brand extension was designed to remain cohesive and intentional. Beyond visual identity, we established a strong strategic foundation through defining clear principles and systems that guide how the brand shows up in the world.
